Film review: Jurassic World Dominion (2022)
Jurassic World's Dominion is perhaps the most disappointing film I've ever experienced, even though I've seen a lot of bad films as a film reviewer. The Jurassic World: Dominion, the third entry in the Jurassic World trilogy, and the sixth installment of Jurassic Park as a series did not live up to the hype. It was evident right from the beginning that this film would not impress.
Jurassic World, Dominion tells the fascinating story of dinosaurs, a feared species that is set to eventually conquer the planet. Instead of taking the idea seriously and expanding on it, the film keeps the dinosaurs in a small , isolated park. The problem is that this is only one of many disappointing moments in film.
One of the film's major problem is that it is short of the high standards it sets for itself, Jurassic World: Dominion. The film was marketed as the definitive conclusion to the Jurassic World trilogy. It promised a satisfying end to the trilogy and huge improvement. Many viewers were disappointed, and deflated by the film's inability to live up to the expectations set by the marketing.
The plot of Jurassic World: Dominion is simple and confusing to the point where it is almost nonsensical because it attempts to cover all the major characters from the earlier films regardless of whether this is logical. The historical figures have been reduced to empty slates and the plot is told poorly and at a time that doesn't make sense. This is a huge hole in the story's narrative. You'll begin to wonder what the film is about by the end of the run time.
Jurassic World: Dominion tries to keep the viewers entertained by synchronizing two boring and unrelated plotlines. But it fails terribly. The film ignores the Stegosaurus throughout, despite its obvious presence. This leaves (Jurassic World: Dominion (2022) film) viewers wondering why it was added.
While Jurassic World III was a superior film than Jurassic World III, Jurassic World III isn't a great movie. The film could be among one of the weakest in the Jurassic Park series overall, that's a significant statement considering the history of the series of mediocre stories. Jurassic World, Dominion, is a horrible, pointless waste. It is disappointing for both fans who have been around for a long time as well as new Jurassic Park fans and new viewers.
In general, if your an avid fan of the Jurassic Park movies, you should skip this one. Instead, go to the original Jurassic Park film, which is considered to be the most excellent.
